Yuan Liu a member of the Communist Party of China and a native of Chenzhou, Hunan Province,holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and has postdoctoral research experience. She is an appointed professor at the University of South China and a supervisor of master's students. Her research focuses on biomolecular recognition materials, functional nanomaterials, in vitro diagnostic reagents, and sensor-related fields. She has led projects funded by the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. As a core member, she has participated in several key projects, including the Nanotechnology Special Project under the National Key R&D Program of China, the National Major Scientific Instrument Development Project, and the Special Project on Key Technologiesfor Food Safety. She has published 15 SCI-indexed papers as frst author or corresponding author, including five ESI Highly Cited Papers, as well as more than 50 co-authored SCI-indexed papers. She has also been granted two Chinese invention patents.
